Guidelines and practice advice are provided by the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) to identify principles, provide direction, clarify roles and responsibilities, and provide a framework for decision-making for registered nurses (RNs) and nurse practitioners (NPs). Guidelines help registrants apply the standards to their practice.
