The College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) has published a new practice advice document that has been developed in consultation with registrants and partners in Alberta's health care ecosystem.
This supporting document to the Scope of Practice for Nurse Practitioners provides guidance to nurse practitioners (NP), neonatal NPs, graduate nurse practitioners (GNP), and neonatal GNPs in assessing, developing and maintaining their professional competence.
Registrants and the public may reach out to the CRNA at any time for practice guidance related to the standards of practice, including understanding the CRNA's standards of practice, their intent and what registrants are accountable for across different practice settings, at any time.
